Soup's on!

I made some veggie stock earlier this week. Today's soup is:

veggie stock
dehydrated tomatoes
cabbage
chickpeas (debated using lentils, but I love chickpeas...)
leeks
potatoes
carrots
rutabaga
wild carrots
zucchini
3/4 c homemade Kimchi
Swiss Chard stems (didn't have any celery)
thyme, rosemary, bay, freshly ground pepper

Green beans, kale, and Swiss Chard added 5 minutes before calling it "done."

What to call this...CWS' Lazy Monday Veggie Soup...CWS' Cleaning the Veggie Crisper Soup...

The ladies are getting sassier by the day. I'm doing fine, thanks for asking. I added a splash of Frank's hot sauce and a grind of sea salt to the bowl of soup. You're right, it is darn tasty. I love a bowl of homemade soup on a crisp autumn day.

glad to hear you & the ladies are ok cw.i put a few dabs of franks extra hot in yesterdays prawn burgers....nice!!
