Cake Baking - Help

does anyone know how i can make my cake rise more im making a vic sponge??

Do you mean a victoria sponge cake? I agree - if you can post your recipe it may be that adjusting the proportions may help.
Forget love... I'd rather fall in chocolate!

Use self rising flour, or all purpose flour with 1 1/2 t of baking powder for every cup of flour and of course play God Save the Queen, even a common cake must rise!

6oz sr flour, caster sugar, and butter 3 eggs and 1 teaspoon of baking powder, plus is it true that using free range eggs is better for the rising of a cake?
