ThanksI always have a Publix pizza dough in the freezer. It's easy and good.
But you must thaw it out and let it come up to room temp before you try to work with it.
I will even allow it to rise one more time.
I love their Parker House rolls. I have 3 bags of them in the freezer right now. I bought them for the holidays but ended up using Costco dinner rolls. They are not nearly as good.I used to buy the Bridgford frozen bread dough to make pizza until I got a bread machine. I just love set it and forget it small appliances.
If I could get that here, the whole wheat dough for a buck or three, I would be on that like curd cheese on poutine.I have a bread machine so I'm loathe to pay for dough. Sometimes DD buys a bag of the dough from Trader Joe which is around a dollar. They have whole wheat, herb and plain.
Sounds like it would be aged to perfection by now.I found a 3-year-old ball of frozen bread dough in the freezer yesterday. Forgot all about it. I don't think freezing dough for later use is for me.
