Some of my favorites Puerto Rican dishes from growing up in Brooklyn were.

Alcapurria - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Cuchifritos - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pigeon peas, batata, yams, Yautía, Yuca, rice and beans, flan, pasteles, rejenos. I am having an incredible flashback right now.

I've got a couple of Armenian dishes up on my website at www.fearlesskitchen.com. I can recommend Victoria Wise's The Armenian Table. Also, Culinaria: Russia has a large section on Armenian food.
