Peanut Butter/Chocolate Muffins

Ingredients

1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup dark brown sugar
2 cups all purpose flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon salt
2/3 cup milk
¼ cup butter, melted and cooled
¼ cup creamy peanut butter
1½ tsp vanilla
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
5 ounces peanut butter chips
½ cup roasted peanuts, finely chopped

Procedure

A box oven was used for this. Needs about 400 degrees. In a box oven each coal is about 40 degrees, but you need 1 - 2 more just because it is a cardboard box.
Grease 12 cup muffin pan. Mix dry ingredients together. Set aside. Mix liquid ingredients together. Make a well in center of dry ingredients.
Add liquid all at once and stir together until ingredients are slightly moistened. Batter will be lumpy. Do not overseer. Add chips and nuts. Spoon into greased muffin pan, filling each 2/3 full. Place 11 - 12 coals in tin in box oven. Bake muffins 15 to 20 minutes
