I am making a cake for my sons birthday of bananas in pyjamas (cartoon character in australia) I found an idea online where you melt white chocolate mix with yellow colour paste and set in a dolly varden tin for the shape of the head and then just do the cake as the base. Can anyone suggest a good way to do this. I am having trouble, if i use plastic wrap to line the tin it leaves a bubbly surface. I hope this makes sense

Try a test run with cooking spray. Melt a small amount of white chocolate in the microwave and allow to cool slightly, but still pourable. Pour into the tin and see if it releases easily.

Also, the release coating doesn't have to be thick. Remember to gently bounce the tin on a table top to get the bubbles to release from the bottom and float to the top, while the chocolate is still hot and liquid.
