Captain Morgan
Chef Extraordinaire
I know a lot of you guys come here from
time to time.
This is a cool idea.....the local newspaper ran a 4 week bracket style contest
where locals voted on their favorite seafood restaurants between
Calabash NC and Georgetown SC. There were first round pairings the
first week, and the winners advanced to the next round, and so on
each week until now. The last 2 will be voted on next week to determine
who we think is the best seafood joint on the coast!
There has been some real surprises...long time favorites Sea Captain's
House in Myrtle Beach and Drunken Jack's in Murrells Inlet did not make
it to the championship.....here's a link...I hope it works...just click
on each region to see how the voting went.

The 4 regions were
1. Calabash and North Myrtle Beach
2. Myrtle Beach proper
3. Murrells Inlet
4. Pawleys Island to Georgetown.
