These came from AcraMax.com. They are really good & quick!

2 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 and 1/3 cup flour
1 and 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2/3 cup pecans, chopped

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into a greased 13 x 9-inch-baking pan and bake for 20 - 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Allow to cool and cut into bars.

The Skinny: Use your favorite egg and sugar substitutes. These bars will be pretty dense. If you want to lighten them up a little and make them more cake-like, add 1/2 tsp. of baking powder.

Butter Pecan Cheese Bars
2 c AP flour
2/3 c Firmly packed brown sugar
3/4 c Butter, softened
1 c Chopped pecans
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/3 c Firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 ts Vanilla
2 tb Flour
2 Eggs
1 c Butterscotch chips
1 oz unsweetened chocolate, melted (for glaze)

Preheat oven to 350F
1.In large bowl, blend 2 cups flour, 2/3 cup brown sugar and butter until crumbly. Stir in pecans.
2.Press crumb mixture in 13x9 pan. Bake at 350F for 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown.
1.In small bowl, beat cream cheese, 1/3 cup brown sugar and vanilla. Add 2 tb flour and eggs; blend well. Pour filling over baked crust.
3.Sprinkle butterscotch chips on top of filling. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until firm to touch. Drizzle with melted chocolate. Cool completely; cut into bars.
