Cornish game hen and crock-pot

I have a recipe for slow cooker cornish game hen and it does not say anything about putting any water in the pot.Is this all right?

I would think it would be fine. Just like putting it in a roasting pan. If you are very concerned put in just a little water.

welcome. no water necessary, the juices of hen will be enough moistures. you might lay down about an inch of sliced onions. i do that with thighs, not only are the onions delicious but adds to the moisture. good luck
