This is some good tasting fried fish if you use the right ingredients and technique !....
Ingredients:
- Pompano Fillets[/*:m:3jdsypq4]
- Frying oil - I like peanut oil since it burns at a higher temp.[/*:m:3jdsypq4]
- H.E.B. Lemon flavored Fish Fry Mix...Or whatever you like.. Cajun ones are good too.
Cooking instructions:
[/*:m:3jdsypq4] - Take the Pomp fillets and soak in ice water.[/*:m:3jdsypq4]
- Skake off excess water and coat with fish fry mix. Cover completely.[/*:m:3jdsypq4]
- Put oil in a frying pan and get it up to 350 degrees F.[/*:m:3jdsypq4]
- Gently place a few fillets in the hot oil and cook until golden brown.[/*:m:3jdsypq4]
- Let cool off for about 2 minute and then dig-in and feast!!!![/*:m:3jdsypq4]
