I love to slice fresh okra into rounds, season it up, add sliced or chopped peppers and onions and then saute in my cast iron saute pan. My issue is in maryland , I believe that okra will become rare and/or exspensive during the winter so I bought a couple pounds yesterday and will get more, if i can find a decent way to store it.
I have a vacuum sealer. Should I freeze it sliced or whole? Would I do better freezing it in canisters or bags?
