I'm making a sorta, kinda ...
Italian/Hawaiian Seven Fishes meal for the three of us.

Shrimp Cocktail
Lobster Tail with melted Butter
Panko Breaded Calamari
Oysters on the half shell
Kimchi Mussel Poke
Shoyu-Limu Ahi Poke
Mini Pizzas with Anchovy fillets atop

... and then just because its a celebration,
Crispy Gau Gee
:yum:

Mom and I made two different kinds of cookies to leave
out for Santa ;)

What are you having this Christmas Eve?

SO and I watched the Naples pizza video yesterday and we both decided we needed to have pizza. So that’s what’s for dinner.

Leftover BBQ here. Later, we'll do the family traditional Velveta/Rotel queso dip with chips, while watching a movie, or whatever my Mom wants to watch -- it has to be G-rated, and can't feature any liberal celebrities. That narrows the field considerably.

So, your basic Northern Arizona holiday meal, right? ;)

We had our family Christmas celebration late this morning with a wonderful brunch at the home of my older son.
My contribution was a killer stuffed French Toast casserole made with TJ's cinnamon swirl bread stuffed with cream cheese cubes, served with a luscious butter/eggnog syrup on the side. It was a big hit, especially the eggnog syrup. There were lots of delicious dishes, like a wonderful Frittata with sausage/mushrooms/spinach/cheese.
Fruit salad, Danish Kringle and Mimosas rounded out a nice menu.

Tonight our quiet dinner together will be locally made pork tamale's, like I've had for Christmas Eve dinner as long as I can remember.
Good grief Charlie Brown...what a carb overload!! A new year will be here soon.

Your dinner sounds wonderful Kgirl!

Went down the road to a seaside hotel for a drink this afternoon, and then returned to cook dinner. Roast chicken, Lundbergs wild rice medley with bacon and mushrooms in the Zoji, nuked broc.

Sounds wonderful kgirl, and all!

Tamales here this evening from a local tamale making goddess as well. :yum: Probably will be the same for New Year's Eve dinner - one of the many reasons I look forward to this time of year.

Sliced mango and kiwifruit for a side. I'm busy doing last minute Christmas dinner prep for tomorrow, so it was an easy peasy late afternoon dinner.

Kay...your French toast casserole sounds sooo good!

I'm wishing I had K-Girl's dinner...everything was closed tonight except McDonald's, even the grocery was closed @ 4 pm. The only thing on the facility menu I could eat was green beans. So here I am, eating a double cheeseburger, cold fries, green beans and a few pieces of homemade fudge...dang candy makers...

Nice, K-girl and mofet! Wish I was there, too.

We were so busy getting ready for all of the guests that we went pretty easy for a Christmas eve. DW made breaded flounder, homefries, and a salad. I made mussels in garlic tomato sauce, and toasted a baguette.

We're supposed to get 3 inches of snow overnight. My family from Florida, Virginia, and Delaware are excited for it. I just hope they rented 4WD vehicles.

I'm dyin' here, looking at your dinners kgirl and MsM. :yum:

Stopped in here for a minute to look...tired as all get-out and heading for bed with wonderful dinners on my mind. :yum:

bucky....looking forward to hearing more! Nighty, all.....I'm beat.:sleep:

Yup, roadfix, what Cheryl said! Your middle grandkid looks like she's sticking her tongue out. I guess the fish is trying to slither away.

Was supposed to be the four of us eating kielbasa and sauerkraut from the market, plus mashed potatoes. With Himself still sick, Goober stayed away, Loverly ran away...and I made chocolates far, far away from The Germ. Loverly and I raided the stash of leftovers. Himself had two soft scrambled eggs. The best laid plans of man and cook...
