Was up at the Mountain House in Blowing Rock, NC and I decided I was going to cook a steak. The grocery store didn't have my usual Ribeye in stock so I picked up a T-Bone. This was actually my first time grilling a T-Bone. I'm still experimenting with using steak rub and since last time I used it more like a seasoning this time I decided to go crazy. And... I went a little to crazy because even though while cooking the steak I knocked off a good bit of the rub it was still pretty much the only thing I could taste. So hopefully since I have gone with not quite enough rub to way too much rub I will find a nice middle on my next attempt. But it was still a tasty steak
(Once again I apologize for the photo quality I still haven't picked up my 5D from my apartment so these are just with my cell phone)
I must admit it was nice being able to act like a caveman and gnaw on the bone when I was finished
