Assistant Cook
A friend's mom passed away and I volunteered to make Swedish meatballs and sweet-and-sour meatballs for the after service luncheon tomorrow. My problem is timing as I need 3 hours cook time on low.
If I completely cook these meat balls during the day today, will it be OK to reheat them in the slow cooker tomorrow at the luncheon? Or should I try to cook them tomorrow morning before the viewing and service, on a higher temp for a shorter time? They will still wind up sitting in my car for about 2 hours. Any help would be appreciated.
