1kg medium-size raw prawns
1 cup canned coconut milk
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp fresh ginger ,finely chopped
2 tbsp fish sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp ground black pepper
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
Shell the prawns
Into wok add , coconut milk, 1/2 cup water, garlic,ginger,fish sauce,sugar and pepper and bring to boil,stirring
Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring frequently
Add prawns and simmer, stirring, until they curl and turn pink
Stir in lime juice
