The posts this week with wings got me inspired to do this fool proof wing recipie. I also grilled up some squash and vidiala onions with EVOO, fresh basil and oregano.
1 stick of unsalted butter
1/2 cub Louisiana hot sauce
1 tbl brown sugar
1 tbl garlic powder
1 tbl onion powder
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp salt
4 lbs chicken wings, about 18
In a small pan melt the butter, reduce heat to low and add all the ingredients except the chicken. Stir and simmer for 10 minutes. Let this cool to room temp.
Rinse the wings and pat them dry. Put them in a bowl and add the marinade and toss to coat. Place in the fridge for 4-8 hours.
Grill the wings for 25-35 minutes.
Serve with extra Louisiana hot sauce.
