We have happened upon, not one but two unusual stoneware pots that we can not identify and it really is driving us crazy.
They are both hand thrown, and appear to look like casserole pots, except that the center of each pot has a raised column which turns into a large vent before it hits the lid.
Does anyone have any idea of what they are called or what they are used for?
