I'm making salmon salad for brunch. I'll only use half a can of cleaned salmon and freeze the other half. It's also really good in Alfredo sauce with egg noodles.

Well I don't have to cook today. We are going over to my MIL's house and she is making us a roast chicken dinner and for dessert a saskatoon pie. Mmmmmm! I'm sort of glad she is cooking because I don't think I'll have time today. I have some driving to do and I have to get the last stuff out of Mom's house before it changes hands.

Sorry, Snip, didn't see this before but Dawgluver gave a very apt description. Growing up as a kid in, well, Saskatoon, I thought that these were OUR berries - kind of like a little secret. The truth is, they grow better in Ontario and Quebec than on the prairies! Go figure!What on earth is saskatoon? Never heard of it![]()
