Who are your greatly loved relatives that have passed away who were excellent cooks?

My great aunt was the best cook in our family, she owned a deli in the 1950s in Harrisburg PA. I don't think she baked her own bread, but most everything else she would make from scratch, even pickles and horseradish (except she would use strawberry preserves as strudel filling; apricot would have been better IMO). Her cooking also suffered from undersalting in her later years since my uncle had high blood pressure. My late brother was also a good cook, he once catered a friend's wedding as his wedding present to them. He also came in 2nd in a Florida statewide salsa contest.
