I never have used any liquid in meatloaf

I have never used milk or cream in meatloaf. I do have a Danish meatloaf recipe that uses some stock.

It's not much, just enough for a panade. I used to do that before i found the Quaker Oats recipe.

Have only added milk to soak the bread in for meatloaf recipes. Works really well. Tender, moist, not solid or dry.

I usually don't have a problem using the 3/4 cup milk and the 3/4 cup breadcrumbs. My meatloaf is never dry but doesn't fall apart either. But I probably should have used water to think the whole mess.

But there's always next time. I have 3 pounds of hamburger left in the freezer and I like meatloaf.
