Hi all. My DW wants me to make some of these, but instead of buying a bag of marshmallows (like the recipe calls for), she got me a jar of marshmallow creme. Does anyone know what the ratio of rice crispy's to the creme is? TIA

I've have used mini-marshmallows and marshmallow creme interchangably during my recent fudge-making craze. 1 7oz jar of Marshmallow Creme is equivalent to 2 cups of mini marshmallows. WHen using the mini marshmallows, I add a few tsps of light corn syrup.

Good luck!

These are the kind we always had growing up. I will never lose my love for peanut butter!

Peanut Butter Krispies
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c light Karo syrup
1 c peanut butter
2 cs Rice Krispies

1.Bring sugar and syrup to a full boil. Remove from heat, and add peanut butter and Rice Krispies.
2.Press into a well-greased glass pan. Let cool before cutting into bars.
