This turned out better than I thought it would.

In a crockpot, put 6-8 skinless, boneless chicken breast
3/4 c of peach preserves
1/4 c of Russian dressing
1 envelope of Lipton Onion soup/dip dry mix

Cook on low for about 4 hours
about 30 minutes or an hour before finish, add frozen veggies. {I used broccoli and carrots}

Can be served on rice or pasta.

What flavor stands out the most to you?? Is it sweet?
Recipes like this I am often currious about but not often brave enough to try.....:blush:

hmm, it's hard to describe really. It is a little sweet, but, the onion soup mix counters too much sweetness. You don't get all peach, that is for sure. There is really just a hint of it there.

I will definately make it again. Even DH loved it and he is very skeptical about combining fruit with meat. The chicken is tender too.

Thank you and sorry for all the questions :ROFLMAO:
I had seen a similar recipe before and didn't trust it, but now with your review I think I just may have to go buy me some ingredients!!:mrgreen:

LOL, no problem. I hope you like it as much as we did. Don't shoot the messanger if not though, hehe

My first reaction is this sounds strange.... but if you say you would make it again, then maybe it is something I need to take a looky at!
