Montazuma's Dark Chocolate Absolute Black 100% Cocoa review...

Found this item at Trader Joe's.

If you fully love dark chocolate this candy bar is for you.

Ingredients are Dark Chocolate contains Cocoa Solids 100%

This sure was bitter and sure was dark....

Too bitter for me...

I give this item a minor thumbs up as I want to go under 100%.

100-percent cocoa is more for cooking/baking than eating, IMO. Even 80-percent is pretty bitter as a snack.

I've been eating 90% lately, has taken me about a year to adapt.

Sixty-percent is about as much as I want as a candy. Hershey's Special Dark bars are 45-percent, and I enjoy them -- too much -- so I don't keep them around.

I'm not allowed the sugar. 60% is way too sweet anymore. I really notice and can smell the sugar content. I CAN have 1 ounce of 90% a day...some days that is the highlight. I've had the most trouble giving up chocolate.

The reviewed product has 0grams of sugar per serving.

Lindt 90% has 3 grams a sugar.

Yes, thus my struggle to give up chocolate. Now I may be able to transition to the 100% without gnawing on a block of baker's chocolate.
