Separate the broccoli rabe into florets. Trim the stems off. Cut each floret crosswise into 1 inch pieces. bring a large pot of water to boil adding salt then the broccoli rabe. Cook the broccoli til almost tender say about 5-6 min. Drain. In large skillet, cook 3 thinly sliced cloves of garlic and red pepper crushed or to taste in 1/3 cup evoo about 1 min. Now stir in 4-6 slices of Italian or French bread cut into bite sized pieces a brown lightly about 3 min. Stir in the broccoli add a pinch of salt cook for 5 min more serve hot.
