I have searched all over for Deuce Bigalow European Gigalow and can't find it in a full frame! We can't watch widescreen:wacko:
All they show is widescreen, ap3,dubbed,subtitled,ntsc and anamorphic.

My tv has the following formats to change to
4:3 zoom, 14:9 zoom, 16:9 zoom, 16:av 16:9 regular and cinerama

Wide Screen is the 16:9 format. It's also referred to as letterbox. When you watch that on a regular TV, there is a balck area across the top and bottom of the screen.

Your regular TV screen is in the 4:3 format.

But, is there a way with my formats on my tv, to shrink the black outline with a widescreen movie to make it look full screen? I can't stand that black outline.

I'm not sure. Some DVDs I've rented in the past gave you an option for format. If you're renting a DVD, see if the rental store has both the 16:9 and the 4:3 formats.
