Just thought to mention this. I saw a lady on tv using the microplane upside down from the way everyone else does (tray part up). She then was able to measure the zest very easily. Hope it helps someone - it sure is me. I'm making Paula's recipe for lemon curd - mixing everything in the food processor then cooking in a double boiler.
