I would be loathe to take the iron out every time I use parchment and all our countertops are "rounded." Our table is round and its edge is rounded, so the crumple method is my choice.
Most cake/baking supply stores also sell. I buy it by the boxKing Arthur Flour sells parchment paper in pre-cut sheets. 1/4 sheet pan, 1/2 sheet pan and full sheet pan sizes.
