However can I live without the latest and greatest. What does one do with all their pots and pans? Hold a yard sale and put out all your knives, cake pans, etc.?

When I see something new, my first thought is "Something else I have to clean."

I just came across this article about the Prep & Cook in Business Week, which states "The do-it-all category is still relatively new to the American market, but it’s well-established in Asia and in Europe, where the Thermomix, which pioneered the category in the 1960s, remains the best-known brand."
