I have no plans, for me there won't be any dinner.
plan on doing sushi for a very late lunch and hoping it'll carry me over.
What's anyone eating or preparing for their meal tonight?

I'll be experimenting with a gluten-free chicken and rice recipe. Actually, it's not really a recipe since I haven't invented it yet.

I have roast chicken bringing for tonight's dinner, chicken will have herb rub. Also will have mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, NYT bread with herbed butter. For dessert, either pudding or ice cream.

main course will be fresh sweet corn, followed by a couple of sides of sweet corn and sweet corn

You know, sweet corn would be really good with that - I can't believe you didn't think of it!!!!!! What I wouldn't give for some good sweet corn

I'm going to be smoking some ribs - wish me luck!!!

When you get finished, please I need a how to..I have a beautiful brand new year old smoker..Haven't used it yet as Dh for the life of him cannot figure out how to use it and keep it from getting dirty!!! I have had it I want to smoke some ribs and use the blasted thing...HELP!!!!
kades;)

Philly cheese steaks that we were supposed to have last night! Menu was changed at last minute yesterday and had grilled burgers. The dough is rising for the rolls as I type.

something with a pork chop, don't know what and probably won't til i start to make it.

babe:chef:

i have some apricot just fruit jam, maybe use that on it after browning. Chinese noodles would be good . green veg. maybe? lol

Pork casserole - diced pork cooked with onion, celery, red pepper, smoked paprika, mixed herbs and a bottle of pear cider. Served on a baked potato.

I'm thinking chicken fried steak. It will be a nice change from all the grilled food I've been eating lately, so I can grill out the rest of the week
They had to make some up fresh for me at the store. Can you believe, out of cube steaks

roast beef. mashed potatoes and gravy, have some leeks that I boiled, now I plan to saute them in butter, a platter of sliced tomatoes, avocados and onion rings warm biscuits and just ice cream for dessert.

kadesma ;)

I'm grilling burgers, maybe some fries, or maybe chips...
I had an orange pepper that needs to be eaten.
I need to grocery shop I'd rather have potato salad tahn fries, it's too hot for fries.

watched the PD/BF Throwdown on chicken fried steaks over the weekend, pretty good.......won't say who won in case someone is recording it

I think Andy mentioned that in the chicken fried steak thread. He said PD made a brown gravy.
So, who won? (lol)

I love brown gravy and even have some mushrooms I could go to town with, but I might go with the white gravy. Still undecided, but it's early.

Pan fried breaded pork chops, cubed redskins in evoo & butter with onions and garlic, and sauteed garden fresh green beans tossed in butter, garlic, Lowrey's and bread crumbs. Cinnamon rolls for dessert. Yummo!
