Beater cars!

I've had new and old cars but I think my current truck is the most questionable vehicle I've ever driven! I have a scarlet and gray '82 Ford Ranger that only has about 52k miles on it. The engine, transmission, brakes, etc., are fine but there are no floorboards and the exhaust seeps out of the vents. I have to drive with the windows down so I don't die of asphyxiation! Anyone else ever had a piece o' crap car that was reliable but embarrassing?

lol, my sister had an 82 escort that lasted for 15 years or so. they even brought it back and forth to germany (hubby in the military) a coupla times. she loved that crate.

i've always had halfway decent cars, except for a few months that i drove a banged up "k" car. i actually met dw when i was driving that thing. she coerced me into buying a thunderbird right away.
