I posted tonight about a new apple cider brand that I tried. Later, I rememberred that I had about 3 tbs Haagen Daas Dulce de Leche ice cream in the freezer. So of course, me being me, I tried yet another experiment; It came out very tasty. I will modify it here though as it will just make it better.
Ingredients:
3/4 cup Haagen Daas Dulce De Leche ice cream
1/2 cup really good apple cider
2 tbs. Smucker's caramel ice cream sauce
Out them all into a mini blender and buzz 'em up. Yep, it's that easy, and it tastes great.
I think that if one were to microwave some cubed, fresh, diced Pink Lady, or Fuji Apples until softened a little, and added that to the shake, it could then be eaten with a spoon and would be amazing.
Sp now you have enjoyed root beer floats, orange sherbet floats, all kinds of malts and shakes, and now, a caramel apple shake.
As with all of my recipes, they are starting points. Take them and create your own amazing foods and drinks, using what I put on here as inspiration. Of course, as are, they are good enough to eat.
