Ingredients
2 medium cucumbers
1 teaspoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon white vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons sesame-seed oil
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
Method
Peel the cucumbers and cut them lengthwise in two.
With a spoon, scrape the seeds out of each half, leaving hollow boat-like shells.
Cut the cukes crosswise, into 1/4 inch slices
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, sesame-seed oil, Tabasco and salt. Mix well.
Combine the sliced cukes with the prepared sauce. Mix well to coat and chill before serving.
