Anyone have a good recipe? I had one I always used from Gourmet magazine, but when I gave away my two decade's worth, it is one I forgot to copy. It is too late in the day for me to use it, but I definitely remember a couple of tablespoons of beef stock, apple cider vinegar, sugar. I've already started, but the Joy of Cooking recipe isn't even close (the recipe I used had only one other veg besides the potatoes, finely diced onions, which I sauteed in a bit of bacon fat). Any clues?
