Just thought I'd share my 'attack plan' for my holiday cookie spree - I start usually about mid-October buying ingredients - butter when it's on sale, same for chocolate, keeping an eye out for sales. Keep the butter in the freezer and the chocolate wrapped well in a 'secret' place in the cool garage! Also nuts on sale, etc. Makes it easier on the pocketbook to not have to buy all those pricey ingredients at one time when you're also shopping for Christmas presents!
