I stumbled upon this cooking "planet" quite accidentaly. Even though I am not a professional toiling behind the line, I paid my dues to the restaurant gods by smiling when I didn't feel like it, carrying trays up two flights of stairs and slinging drinks across the bar (actually, I tried that "Cocktail" routine only once).
My mother was the hostess extraordinaire and I would love nothing more than to approach her ability both in preparing creative dishes and in making everyone who entered the house a special guest.
My children yearn for "Lunchables", "Taco Bell" and "Hot Pockets" less and less, and that is not a battle, but a war almost won!
I am looking forward to exchanging thoughts, ideas and recipes with all of you! And don't mind me, I just LOVE to talk!
