I recently found this tool in my pantry and have absolutely no idea where it came from. Looks like a cheese greater with spikes. Anyone have any ideas?

Figured it out after some grueling research... It's a ginger grater!! Not sure why I would need that.

Just because it's called a ginger grater doesn't mean you can't use it on other things like Andy mentioned.

That's exactly why I bought mine. Sometimes Kalamatas are a bit skinny, but my Oxo cherry pitter still does the job. DW safe, too
I use a garlic press.
