Hi,
A while ago, I wrote about my DH being in the hospital with a very weak heart. He was not expected to live and I was planning on a very sad Christmas without him.
After 3 weeks in the hospital, getting weaker daily and dying before me, one cardiologist contacted a heart failure specialist at a different hospital and helped us get an appointment. He was released from the first hospital on Monday very early and saw the new doctor right after. He was admitted into the cardiac intensive care of the new hospital and with a whole new plan of meds and future procedures, we now have hope. I know it is iffy, but at least we have been given hope for the first time in over 2 years.
This may be a good Christmas, after all.
