I finally got the kids to try something other than chocolateBelieve it or not they asked for it for Sunday
Preheat oven to 325. Generously butter 8 custard cups. Combine 1 cup sugar,1/4 cup flour,1/8 teas salt,and 2 Tabl. melted butter. Stir in 5 Tab.lemon juice and lemon zest from one lemon .Whisk in 3 egg yolks into the hot milk Whisk the yolk mixture into the lemon mixture til well blended. Beat the white til firm but not dry. Fold the lemon mixture into the egg whites. Spoon into prepared cups. Place filled cups in in a baking pan, Fill with enough hot water to come half way up side of the cups. Bake 45 min . Cool at room temp then put in refridgerator til chilled about 4 hrs. Serve cold a dollop of creme fraiche or whipped cream on top os nice
