Molasses & Black pepper Strip Steak / with a
Smoked Bacon Shitake Steak Sauce

4 14-16 oz Strip Steaks

Marinade

1 3/4 cups Molasses
1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 cup Fresh Cracked Black pepper
2 Fresh Garlic Cloves Finely chopped
2 Tsp. Ginger
2 Tsp. Fresh Thyme
(Reserve 1/2 for Marinade & 1/2 for Grill )

Sauce

3/4 cup Marinade
3/4 cup BBQ Sauce
1 cup Browned Diced bacon
2 cups sautéed Shitake Mushrooms
1/4 cup Red Wine
1 Tb.Melted Butter

Marinate steaks a minimum of 4 hours , or as long as overnight. Wipe excess marinate off steak and pat dry . Grill steaks to desired temperature Top with steak sauce .
