Thanks for the welcome. I mostly lurk; look for new recipes and ideas. I am retired and live in East Texas near the Louisiana border. I am married and have five children, 12 grands and 12 great grands. It is wonderful when we all get together and have special meals. So I am really interested in large amounts of food for those times. My birthdate is July 20th and this year will celebrate 56 years of marriage.
