I cooked a bunch of rib trimmings today, used a sample of Ribit Rib Rub (and one of their other flavors) that I had been wanting to try. While they were cooking I was chained to a paintbrush, painting my front porch railings (not a fun way to spend an afternoon). Fortunately the wind was in my favor and I could smell the meat cooking, which helped take my mind off how boring it is to paint. The trimmings were good - unfortunately I lost track of which rub was on which piece of meat, but since both were good I guess it didn't really matter.
