Gonna SV a couple of small bone-in ribeyes. Also some roasted Yukon Golds and broiled zucchini.

Dinner last night - Beef, bean, pasta, mushroom, vegetable and barley soup.

We shared a grilled New York strip steak and served it with sliced avocado on top. I also made a side dish of boiled and sautéed green beans with sautéed cherry tomatoes. Topped the bean-tomato mix with fresh parsley and feta. Just delicious.

Btw, I tried a new technique from Cooks Illustrated for cooking the beans. They say to boil them in heavily salted water - I used 2 tbsp fine salt in a quart of water - for about five minutes. They came out bright green and nice and tender (crisp-tender is a contradiction in terms ;) and we don't like underdone green beans). Perfect for finishing in a cast-iron skillet with the tomatoes.
