As I'm thinking about it, I wonder if they were not some RUDD Proprietary thing. First, reps from Seattle came down and then they had to fly someone in from further away. It wasn't hard to add the floor heating to the bathroom...but the rest of the house would be impossible, if not cost prohibitive. I would gladly turn the bedroom down to 62 at night, but DH would not enjoy it! Thanks for the input!

I certainly agree with having it in places that are not frequented daily, especially at night.
As to coming home - I found I was busy enough arriving, unpacking, chasing kids to bed, etc. I didn't pay attention to house temperature.

I have had an individual control on the furnace since the early/mid 70's.
At night was 64, morning 68 but back down to 64 once everyone left.
Back up to 68 around 5, and then
for 3 hours before bed I would have it go up to 72 (always cold just sitting watching TV or reading). then the big drop back down for the night. I loved it!
