I'll be grilling a NY Strip Steak and fresh Zucchini, oh and a Baked Russet.
For dessert later, fresh Strawberry Shortcakes

We ordered Dagwood's submarines.

Cowboy beans and cornbread squares. Pickles. Chocolate ice cream.

Chicken stir fry to use up extra baby bok choy, snow pea pods and shiitakis, plus aloha bell peppers, green and regular onions, grated carrots, bird pepper, garlic and ginger.

Smoked BBQ Chicken with Potato Salad and Avocado-Corn-Tomato Salad. (Yes, two salads. Poor planning on my part, but tasty.) Apple Crisp with vanilla ice cream for dessert.

We each had a griddled Reuben sandwich on marble rye, potato wedges, and half of our dwindling supply of homemade dill pickles.

Jeannie made quesadillas with leftover pork. Served with refried beans and a small salad.

Coconut cake was dessert.
