A non traditional soubise using wine, bacon grease, scallions, fennel, cream, parm R, the bacon pieces obviously and orecchiette.

We had the smoked salmon and bagels that was planned for yesterday. I sure do love that smoked salmon.
 
We had garden salads, then cleaned up a few leftovers. We split the chicken piccata; Himself finished the Brussels sprouts; I steamed up the last of the fresh broccoli for me. While the leftovers planned for tonight's supper are gone, I now have new leftovers of broccoli. :wacko:
 
I call this "clean out the fridge before this stuff goes bad" pasta. Oysters, parsley, celery, scallions, shaved parm, garlic, oil, butter, red and black peppers and a squeeze of lemon. Finished with pink salt.20210303_192045.jpg
 
Last night was Perdue chicken nuggets and onion flavored Tater Tots.
