What kinds of foods does one cut with this knife (vegetables, bread, etc.)? Planning to use this knife in a film and want to use it properly in a cooking scene. Thanks!

It's shaped like a type of bread knife but the lack of serrations suggests it isn't. The blade is also rather thin so the serrations may have been ground off. In its current condition, it could serve as a knife to carve a roast.

I agree thst is for sli ing lsrge roasts, like boneless han, standing rib roast, a large inside round, etc. Tip: to use it in your film, make sure it is very sharp. Thar will help you look goog when uusing it.

Could you set the scene for us?
That might be more helpful.
I'm thinkin' for knife in general, you want to go with a
Chef's Knife, not a Bread Knife.

I mean if your going for authenticity in your film,
that's a go-to-knife in the kitchen.
You're thinking like a cook. ;) That particular knife might be germane to the story line rather than a kitchen function. That might be why the OP is asking how that particular knife would be used.
