Actually, the hot pepper sauce is pretty much whichever you have around the house. I prefer something like Marie Sharp's Habanero Pepper Sauce,
or better yet, the firery hot
both of which are a product of Belize.
But, any hot one will do. If you don't want it too spicy, just use tapatio
. Just make sure it's a good latin flavor.
