The new season of No Reservations starts on New Year's Day on the Travel Channel (10 pm EST). Tony's first stop is Ireland. I hope I remember to tune in. I really enjoy this show.

i've caught several of the old episodes; moscow, viet nam, sicily, and a few others. i've enjoyed every one.
 
This is one of my favorite shows on TV right now. I watched the Indonesia episode last night and man do I want to go there now!

Me, too! It seemed to me that Tony had the best time there of any other place I've seen him visit!

I'm going to make the onion soup recipe from his book, Les Halles. I think I read it from someone here that it was to die for. Actually, I didn't see that it was much different, other than the fact he uses port wine in it that IS different, isn't it?) but what the heck - I have the book and someone's glowing recommendation so I'm going for it.
