I was watching a series on FoodNetwork over the weekend about new kitchen gadgets and such. One of the segments was about a futuristic kitchen Microsoft was working on....did anyone see this?

As I watched the woman interacting with some sort of touch screen menu on her counter and following instructions from a female Space Oddessy voice, all I could think of was how stupid it all seemed to be. I mean, it just took away all of the ideas, thoughts and feelings of being in my kitchen.

Have to agree with you on that one. It seems that all th futuristick kitchens are consentrating on is computers that will tell you how much of whatever you might need. With no counterspace or any gadgets. Eeeah, and who is going to cook?
Who cares about dumb recipe, I can use a note book for recipes.
We should start a thread "The real kitchen of future should be like: ..."
