
TOMATO SOUP CAKE
2 cups sifted flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
2 tsp cocoa
2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
Mix all ingredients above in large bowl, then add:
1/2 cup oil
1 1/2 cups tomato soup, (undiluted)
Mix well and add:
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup raisins
Blend all together, pour in greased baking pans.
Bake at 350 degrees 45 minutes or until toothpick
inserted in middle comes out clean.
**Texture of cake is moister if mixed with wooden
spoon or with whisk.
Frost with a cream cheese frosting. This is a rich spice type cake and wonderful with a cup of steaming coffee!!
